A Heavy Lift Pipelay Vessel based on a customised ULSTEIN Seabarge 3000 design. Equipped with an AmClyde heavy lift post crane. 2,000 square metres of free deck area is capable of laying pipes from 6" to 60" in diameter.The vessel is self-propelled and prepared for future DP upgrade to DP2.

New name: Aurora Thunder. Originally build as a medium-sized platform supply vessel with an optimum combination of fuel efficiency and deadweight, and a capacity and performance close to larger PSVs. In 2023, she is undergoing a conversion to Emergency Response Rescue Vessel (ERRV).

Huanqiu 1200 (originally Global 1200) a rigid pipe S-lay and heavy lift DP2 construction vessel designed for work in shallow and deep water, designed to handle large diameter pipelay projects. The vessel's has been delivered and started her service to the Chinese offshore windfarms.

Island Intervention

An Offshore Construction and Well Intervention Vessel of the ULSTEIN SX121 design. The 25-metre wide and 120-metre long vessel can accommodate 100 persons. The vessel is fitted with a tower for module handling, moonpool, ROV hangar, offshore crane, helipad, and a diesel-electric propulsion system.

An Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel of the VS 490 design. Normand Ranger is a powerful anchor handling vessel with a bollard pull of 287 tonnes. The vessel is equipped with a Multi Deck Handler and an Anchor Recovery Frame for safe anchor handling operations on deck.

Faq

Monitoring and control of agitators. They are used for keeping liquid or substances in motion.

Storing data to file or printing signal or alarm lists has been an option in X-CONNECT for long. Now storing data to file has become even more powerful and can be done on the fly to an USB stick. Any live or historical data in the system, whether it is signals, commands or alarms, can be stored to file. The way to do this is easy and straightforward. Data and time range is selected in the signal or alarm lab, the USB stick is plugged into the X-CONNECT workstation and with a button click the export is done. The data is stored with a standard format in a readable text file.

This feature offers remote control of outdoor lighting, individually or grouped in different zones, through a small panel which can be flush mounted in a console or vertically fixed on e.g. a wall.

X-CONNECT® provides integrated or remote controlled(3rd party) Power Management System. Read more about PMS here.

Automatic start of cooling pumps based on various criteria and use of automatic standby/backup pumps can easily be configured by the user from the system mimic.

The Cargo Tank Control function gives the user an overview of the vessel’s cargo tanks. The user can easily control pumps and valves from the system mimic, where also alarms are displayed. Easy configuration of automatic start/stop or failover functions.

Compensates for vessel movement and displacement to safeguard operation. Ex. movement of cargo, rock dumping, and other specialized operations. Fully integrated with the ballast control system.

The Ballast Control function gives the user a complete overview of the vessel’s Ballast system. The user can easily control pumps and valves from the system mimic, with full control of all alarms in one place. Automatic filling and transfer can be customized in accordance to customer requirements.

The Bilge Control function gives the user a complete overview of the vessel’s bilge system. The user can easily control pumps and valves from the system mimic, with complete control of all alarms in one place.

The Tank Sounding system gives the user an overview of the vessel’s cargo system. The operator can easily control pumps and valves from the system mimic, with full control of all alarms in one place. 3rd party Tank sounding system can be remote controlled.

Visual presentation of the current vessel status categorized and filtered according to the operator’s desired choice.

Sometimes it's necessary to access system drawings and documentation to be able to operate the ship system optimally. The integrated PDF viewer gives the operator access to these files directly from the operator stations in an efficient matter.

X-CONNECT® provides integrated or remote controlled Ballast Water Treatment System. Project customization is available to increase the user experience and efficiency in operation.

When the ship propulsion system is powered by battery or other alternative power sources, an Energy Management System is required. X-CONNECT® provides an integrated Energy Management System or remote control of 3rd party EMS. Read more about ULSTEIN EMS here.

ULSTEIN PMS provides load sharing between diesel generators based on compensated droop philosophy.

Tripping consumers with low priority to avoid blackout.

Prepares generator to manage equipment with heavy loads before they are actually activated, to prevent blackouts. Example of such consumers are bow thrusters, fire fighting pumps etc.
