Why should SOVs be the standard at offshore wind farms?

Offshore Wind Farms are being established further from shore. At some point, overnight stays for the service technicians become necessary, and the transport normally done by Crew Transfer Vessels must be replaced by other transport tools. Service Operation Vessels are becoming the new standard.

Crew transfer vessels have often been the preferred means of personnel transfer to and from offshore wind farms. Now, the need for SOVs are increasing.
