Sapura 3000
‘Sapura 3000’ is a combined heavy lift/pipelay barge equipped with a heavy lift mast crane able to lift 3,000t fixed over stern at 27 metres, or 2,200t fully revolving at 31 metres. The vessel has DP2 class and can keep a transit speed of 8 knots. Based on a customised ULSTEIN Seabarge 3000 design.

2020: The Ulstein designed, Sapura 3000, performing unusual operation by wet towing of jackets in Thailand. Each jacket was lifted of the seabed and transported 100nm, while hanging in the crane with the jacket feet still in the water.
Ulstein Design & Solutions B.V.V made the assessments for the hull and stability limitations for the transportation of seven jackets. Thai television reported on this operation:
