December 1999: The large conversion of the Normand Tonjer, commenced in late October, is in a hectic period. The ship is scheduled to be ready on 23 February 2000, after 4 months. The ship was built as a PSV and will be converted into an ROV/survey vessel.

July 2014: The Ulstein Verft newbuild, the OCV vessel ‘Island Performer’, is destined for American waters. Contracted by FTO, she will serve her first five years as a riserless well intervention vessel (RLWI) in the Gulf of Mexico. The ship can perform operations at depths down to 3,000 metres.

On 7 November 2014, foreman Paul Myrvågnes at Ulstein Verft laid the lucky coin for yno 302, a construction vessel for Island Offshore/Edison Chouest Offshore. Next, the first section, a double bottom, was positioned in the dock hall. The keel laying ceremony marks the official start-up of the construction period.
X-STERN® - ENTERING THE FUTURE ENDWISE
