Ship history

The first vessel of the ULSTEIN P105 design. Named "Far Symphony" at Skansekaia in Ålesund on 6 December 2003. Lady sponsor Mrs Margaret Farstad. One week later, the vessel left for Mongstad and entered into service of the Hydro installations in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

2017: Received a one-year contract with Fairfield Betula on British area starting April 2017.

From June 2017, Deep Sea Supply, Solstad Shipping and Farstad Shipping became one joint shipowning company, from 1 October 2018 the joint company is named Solstad Offshore.
 

Milestones

Nov 2021: The PSV Far Symphony has been awarded a term contract by Ithaca Energy. The vessel will be supporting Ithaca's UK North Sea operations for a period of one year firm, with further options up to one year.

2023: Far Symphony has been sold to Tidewater and change name to Symphony Tide.
