ULSTEIN supports many voluntarily run clubs and organisations, particularly those that work for the benefit of children and youths.
ULSTEIN is a main partner to SOS Children's Villages, with a particulate engagement in a family strengthening programme in Angola. To prevent child abandonment, the family strengthening programme offers welfare and support to vulnerable families, including support to help caregivers move towards financial independence.
The state-of-the-art search and rescue boat ‘Idar Ulstein’, built for the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue, was named on 12 November 2015.
