Due to positive market response and growing international cooperation, Ulstein Poland Ltd. is now seeking Structural Engineers to join our international project teams delivering engineering solutions and documentation for vessels designed by Ulstein.

Job description

  • Develop accommodation layouts and arrangements in accordance with the vessel’s building specification.
  • Recommend optimal technical solutions based on drawings, specifications, and suppliers’ documentation.
  • Support the accommodation discipline lead and deliver documentation according to project schedule, QA/QC requirements, and contract specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards and production-friendly methods and solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Master’s degree in a technical field

Qualifications

  • Technical university background
  • Relevant experience as a marine accommodation designer
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or 3D ship structural design software
  • Experience with Revit is an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant shipbuilding standards, class rules, and statutory requirements

Personal qualities

  • Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks and work both independently and within a team
  • Willingness to expand engineering and project management knowledge and share existing experience
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle complex technical issues
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to shipyards, owners, and equipment suppliers
