Hull no. 270, delivered as a Platform Supply Vessel of the ULSTEIN P105 design. Designed by ULSTEIN and built by Ulstein Verft AS for delivery 2005 to Bourbon Offshore Norway AS. Later converted to an ROV support vessel for multipurpose subsea services.

Ship history

The vessel was converted to a DP2 ROV support vessel for multipurpose subsea services with one AHC deep water crane and accommodation for 74 persons. The vessel can perform world-wide, deep water operations to fulfill the following duties:

- Deepwater precision lifting and installation up to 2,000m
- ROV operations
- Maintenance of SPM buoys
- Survey operations
- Platform maintenance support in DP
- Transportation of liquid products, deck cargo and other equipment for drilling and production support
- Flotel support

The vessel operated for many years outside West Africa.

2019: Sold to Israeli authorities. Renamed Peridot, to be relocated to Haifa, Israel. 

2023: Still active - IMO 9339428

2024: Peridot was sold in February 2024 to EDT Shipmanagement and renamed EDT Prometheus.
