The upgrade transformed Olympic Notos into a highly capable offshore support vessel optimized for unmanned platform operations, offshore maintenance campaigns, and renewable energy support activities. Among other alterations, this was achieved by replacing the walk-2-work tower with one supporting "cone mode", allowing for a fixed connection over time, new utility systems, bridge and DP operational upgrades, and installation of cargo rails on deck to improve deck logistics and cargo handling.
