Ship history

IMO 9578921

Originally named Siem Maragogi, and delivered on 8 November 2014. The vessel began operating under an eight-year charter for Petrobras.

Ulstein Power & Control had the overall responsibility for the technical coordination of the main switchboards, power distribution system, electrical propulsion and integrated automation system on both vessels. This involved quality assurance and follow-up of the technical requirements. Ulstein Power & Control selected the appropriate equipment based on the required speed, economy, and operating profiles and supplied the electrical and control systems, as well as the electric propulsion solutions. The combination of equipment and control systems was optimised to deliver reliable solutions.

2022: Petrobras was awarded long-term contracts to three owners from an OSRV 750 tender. Siem Offshore picked up three-year firm contracts for the Siem Maragogi.

2024: Renamed to Sea 1 Maragogi following the transition from Siem Offshore to Sea1 Offshore.
