Ship history

IMO 9578933

Originally named Siem Marataizes, and delivered on 29 February 2016. The vessel began operating under an eight-year charter for Petrobras.

Ulstein Power & Control had the overall responsibility for the technical coordination of the main switchboards, power distribution system, electrical propulsion and integrated automation system on both vessels. This involved quality assurance and follow-up of the technical requirements. Ulstein Power & Control selected the appropriate equipment based on the required speed, economy, and operating profiles and supplied the electrical and control systems, as well as the electric propulsion solutions. The combination of equipment and control systems was optimised to deliver reliable solutions.

2024: Renamed to Sea 1 Marataizes following the transition from Siem Offshore to Sea1 Offshore. The vessel secured a new four-year contract starting in the second quarter of 2024, continuing its operations in Brazil.
