On 15 November 2025, Yno 322 was successfully towed and positioned inside the dock hall at Ulstein Verft. The project is progressing according to plan, and key activities are now underway.
During the docking period, the main tasks include the complete exterior painting and tank coating, and installation of the outer parts of the thrusters.
The hull has been positioned at the quayside since August, and most disciplines have been involved in the installation work, including piping, outfitting, and accommodation. Ulstein Elektro Installasjon is responsible for the electrical installations.
The vessel will remain in the dock hall throughout the painting process, with all exterior work scheduled for completion prior to the float-out in early 2026.
The vessel is based on Ulstein’s proven SX222 design with the innovative TWIN X-STERN® solution, delivering superior fuel efficiency and reduced motion for safe, more comfortable offshore operations. Featuring hybrid battery propulsion and prepared for green methanol, she is designed to meet future environmental requirements and support carbon-neutral ambitions.
With a motion-compensated gangway, elevator tower, 3D crane, and optimised logistics, the vessel provides a versatile platform for both O&M activities and construction support.
The vessel is the first of two, with the sister vessel expected to arrive at Ulstein Verft within the year's end.
