Keel laying ceremony for Ulstein Verft's Yard number 323

On 19 December 2024, the CRIST shipyard, Poland, carried out the keel laying ceremony for an ULSTEIN SX222 designed vessel, which will be Ulstein Verft's yard number 323, built for institutional investors.

The vessel is based on the innovative ULSTEIN TWIN X-STERN design and is a testament to Ulstein’s commitment to advancing maritime technology. Measuring 89.6 metres in length and 19.2 metres in width, this new Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) is designed with future sustainability in mind. The vessels will be equipped with a hybrid battery propulsion system and be prepared for green methanol fuel to enable carbon-neutral operations. 

The steel cutting for this vessel was in October this year.
