Ship history

In 2022, Shanghai Electric Windpower Group ordered two  Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) based on two different Ulstein designs to be constructed at the ZPMC shipyard, China.  These are the first purpose-made SOVs designed for the Chinese Offshore Wind industry.

Milestones in the shipbuilding project:

2022, 25 January: Contract signing

2022, 15 September: Steel cutting

2022, 30 November: Keel laying

2023, 16 September: Launch

2023, 27 November: Inclining test

2024, 11 April: Completed Offshore Equipment Acceptance Test (OEAT)
